VA Northern Indiana Health Care System

Nutrition & Food Service

The VA NIHCS (VA Northern Indiana Health Care System) provides many nutrition clinics for the veterans that it serves.  The registered dietitians and registered diet technicians of the VA NIHCS continue to serve as the nutrition experts on both the Marion and Ft. Wayne campuses.  Services provided by these dedicated health care professionals include diabetes classes, high blood pressure classes, weight loss classes (MOVE Program) and outpatient counseling with nutritional assessment.  For more information regarding a specific nutritional program offered by the VA NIHCS, please ask your primary care provider or contact a VA dietitian at 800-360-8387, extension 71430.
