Transitional Patient Advocate (TPA) VA Northern Indiana Health Care System

Marshall Phillips currently serves as the Transitional Patient Advocate "TPA" for the Seamless Transition Program at VA Northern Indiana Health Care System. Marshall joined our team August 20th 2007. He retired on July 1st 2007 after 20 years of active duty naval service as Fleet Marine Force (FMF) Corpsman 1st class. Highlights of his career include tours at Naval Hospitals, Air Station branch clinics, and Marine Corps combat support units. Not only does he serve Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom veterans, but he is an Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran himself. Marshall served a 7 month tour in Iraq from July 2003 to February 2004 as the lead combat medic for Bridge Company Alpha Marines. Eager to continue his service for his country and given the opportunity, he joined the Veterans Administration Northern Indiana Health Care System to continue to serve veterans. |
