VANIHCS Announces Open Scheduling for Audiology

Honor Americas Veterans by providing exceptional health care that improves their health and well-being.

Eligible Veterans can still claim and receive full travel pay for these unscheduled appointments.

VANIHCS Audiology departments at Marion and Fort Wayne have begun Open Access services on March 6, 2017. Open access means that Veterans no longer have to schedule an appointment for hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, or hearing aid problems. Veterans can come to Audiology on a walk-in basis for these services during the following times:

Monday 8-11am, 1-3pm
Tuesday 8-11am, 1-3pm
Wednesday 8-11am
Thursday 8-11am, 1-3pm
Friday 8-11am, 1-3pm

Audiology is located:

Bldg 138 Room 215 Marion, 1-800-360-8387   x73143
Bldg 1 Room 115 Fort Wayne, 1-800-360-8387 x 71142

Veterans need to be enrolled in the VA Northern Indiana Healthcare System and be eligible for Audiology services.

Compensation and Pension exams will still be scheduled through the Veteran’s Benefits Administration and will require an appointment.

Eligible Veterans can still claim and receive full travel pay for these unscheduled appointments.
