As part of our commitment to providing world class healthcare and services, the Agent Cashier’s office in conjunction with the Beneficiary Travel Office, at VA Northern Indiana Health Care System has taken steps that will improve services and reduce the time spent waiting in line for travel reimbursement. VA Northern Indiana Healthcare System will begin reimbursing eligible Veterans for travel expenses directly into their bank account. This move to electronic reimbursement provides significant savings to our Veterans time and ensures a safe and efficient way to receive payments. It also allows the VA to further embrace green initiatives and reduce the amount of paperwork involved in processing benefits.
